UNC Chapel Hill is offering a lunch and learn series of educational workshops through the Carolina Women’s Center. Please plan to attend the following, where you’ll learn strategies and tips to help you manage your financial future with confidence.
Feel more confident about your finances! Join the Carolina Women’s Center, Fidelity Investments, and CESI for 4-week series that covers how to take control of your finances, plan for retirement, make the most of social security, and then build a custom budget so that you can put it all into action.
October 25: Be in Your Financial Front Seat
This workshop will help you understand why it’s particularly important for women to make financial wellness a priority and what it means to be in the financial front seat. Conducted by Fidelity.
November 1: THRIVE: Retirement Income Planning on Your Own
The goal of this workshop will be to understand the financial and personal risks women may face and how to put a plan in place to prepare for living in retirement. Conducted by Fidelity.
November 8: Make the Most of Social Security
This seminar will help you understand the importance of Social Security in your savings plan, take the steps you need to maximize your claiming strategy, and plan for your retirement income. Conducted by Fidelity.
November 15: Build a Budget
Learn how to build and adjust a personalized budget. Conducted by CESI.
Lunch is provided for all the sessions. Please feel free to arrive a few minutes early to get lunch and find a seat.
