A session for anyone adopting, fostering, or having a child.
- The ins and outs of parental leave°
- Preparing for leave and returning to work
- Finding and paying for childcare
HR and the CWC are teaming up to do a joint presentation on taking family leave and family resources! The first hour will focus on family leave policies for employees (faculty, staff, and postdocs), and the second hour will focus on resources for all UNC community members. Graduate and professional students interested in parental leave options can contact Clare Counihan (clarecounihan@unc.edu) at the Women’s Center or Hoi Ning Ngai (hngai@email.unc.edu), the Associate Dean of Student Affairs in the Graduate School.
