Virtual DSS Workshop: Effective Communication with Your Mentor

Effective communication is key to a successful mentor-mentee relationship. This workshop will provide participants opportunities to generate approaches that address communication challenges with academic mentors and strategies for assertive, clear communication. All graduate students are welcome to attend, especially those who have diverse identities (first-generation, racially/ethnically diverse, international, LGBTQIA, and military-affiliated). Students are also encouraged to sign up for the Effective Mentoring Series offered through the Professional Development Program.
