DSS Wellness: Communication Hits and Misses

Do we fight, flight, freeze or fawn and what games are we playing when we engage? There are as many misunderstandings as there are attempts to communicate. Have you ever had a moment where you felt that you and another person were talking just past each other instead of with each other? Have you ever laughed at yourself because you completely misunderstood a communication? Have you ever asked a question and received every answer except the one you were seeking? Have you ever answered a question that was not asked because the ask was unclear? If any of this sounds intriguing then this workshop is for you! Come and learn more about communication hits and misses and the games we play when we attempt to communicate.
After this training participants will be able to
- Learn more about stress response in communication
- Identify potential misses in communication
- Improve communication
- Learn about Transactional Analysis and ‘games we play’ when communicating
