GradQuip: Graduate School Awareness Program for Underrepresented Undergraduates

GradQuip is a graduate school awareness program that seeks to increase college-going self-efficacy for underrepresented undergraduate students so that they can make an informed decision about graduate school as a career path. Participants will engage in hands-on, active learning exercises—breaking down barriers that historically discourage students from believing graduate school is possible.

During this interactive session, participants will weigh the benefits of a graduate education by creating group skits. Afterward, participants will interact with graduate students from various departments to learn about their path to graduate school.

This event will be facilitated by Daniel Dinkins, Master’s Student in the School of Education’s Educational Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship program
