IME: Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA): Living Your BEST Life

Sister circles are not new; they have been used in other contexts for black women to work through the ins and outs of their daily lives. We will continue that rich tradition here, to provide affirmation, validation, and support as we all work through this arduous journey called graduate school.
This Sister Circle will be all about ways to get to your BEST LIFE! Out and about, we talk about what living our best lives would mean, but how exactly do we get there? In this meeting, we’ll be reflecting on the past year and things that could have gone better, visioning what our best weeks, months, and years look like, as well as thinking through the logistics of how we turn these visions into realities! It’s more than just a phrase; let’s work on making living our best life into a reality!
