Virtual Global Grads: Culture Shock, Transition & Building Community

As a new international graduate student, coming to UNC to pursue your graduate studies already proves you have a tremendous amount of resilience.  But, how do you foster that resiliency when, at times, you experience culture shock, feel alone or homesick, or have had difficulty navigating the American culture?  How, and to whom, do you to reach out and ask for help?  How do you build your community?  Join us for this event to learn more about your own resiliency through informal, self-reflective writing and supportive conversation with one another.
