Virtual SEA Meeting: Who Am I Outside of Graduate School?

Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA), or the Sisterhood, is meant to be a place for women of color to come together, share their lived experiences, and support one another throughout our journey in the academy.

For the most part, it seems that as grad students, we live, eat, and breathe our work. But we are somuch more than “just students”. What roles do your identities play in your life (if they do for you)? How do you manage to juggle work with personal time? What can make it difficult to have that “ideal” work-life balance? This meeting will allow us to speak freely about our experiences and discuss how we can live our fullest, most authentic lives.
