As a first-gen graduate/professional student, it is important to equip yourself for success. Some tools that have proven to be useful are the Relax, Relate, Release protocol. Relax: You belong here – Overcoming Fear – The Imposter Syndrome Relate: Network, Socialize, and be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Release: Inner power, intuition, perseverance This interactive seminar will allow you to not only learn about these tools but also practice strategies with one another. Lunch will be served, RSVP required.

We will be watching Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin. The 20-award-winning documentary showcases "a mentor to MLK Jr., and the architect of the legendary March on Washington.
