IME: Farm Workday – Led by IME Scholar, Effua Sosoo

We will have a farm workday on Saturday, June 29th from 5:00-7:00 pm. The Farm is located at 1400 Ferguson Road in Chapel Hill, NC. The Farm is a ministry of Life Church (campuses located in Carrboro and Durham). The produce is sold at the Carrboro Farmer’s Market.
Children are more than welcome – there are swings and space to run around! In terms of dress, please wear cool, cotton clothing. Long sleeves and pants are highly recommended but if you wear short sleeves please bring some bug spray. This is a great opportunity to spend time with each other and learn more about gardening. Duties will likely include: pulling weeds, sowing seeds, and harvesting vegetables. Prefer to observe? That’s okay too! No experience is necessary and we would love to see you there. Light snacks and water will be provided.
