DSS Lunch & Learn Series: Effective Communication with Your Mentor

Part 2 of the DSS Lunch & Learn mentorship series. Students are encouraged, but not required, to also attend Finding a Mentor on 10/5. The skills learned in this series build upon each other and students will benefit most if taken as a series.

Effective communication is key to a successful mentor-mentee relationship. This workshop will provide participants opportunities to generate approaches that address communication challenges with academic mentors and strategies for assertive, clear communication. All graduate student participants in Diversity and Student Success are welcome to attend.
